Step 1 - Registering Your Buyer

To register your buyer with Schuber Mitchell Homes, contact Dena Hurley (The Flanagan Group, Keller Williams) - 417.850.4872 | denahurley@kw.com 

For Registration, we will need your buyer's information. The registration process attaches you as the agent associated with the buyer.



Step 2 - Find Your Home

During this step, you and your buyer will meet with Dena to decide on a New Build or Quick Move-In option and go over the floor plan and homesite options.



Step 3 - Construction Overview

Depending on the timeline of the build, there may be a waiting period in between Contracts and the Construction Overview. 

Courtney Jasinski (The Flanagan Group) will reach out to you (the agent) to schedule the Construction Overview. 

You will be connected with a Schuber Mitchell Employee during this step to establish future communication. You will need to attend the Construction Overview with your buyer as they will have documents to sign.

After the overview, Courtney will send you (the Agent) a Pre-Construction Slideshow (breakdown of the steps and phases in the build process) and any overview documents your buyer signed at the overview. 

*The day before the Construction Overview, Courtney will send you a reminder.
*We highly recommend you be there with your buyer at this step.

Step 4 -  Frame Tour

After the electrical wiring and before the sheetrock is installed (around 8 weeks after Construction Overview), Tony Grantham (Schuber Mitchell Experience Manager) will meet you and your buyer at the home to go over the layout and allow your buyer to write personalized messages on the framing.

Erin Ackerman (Schuber Mitchell) will reach out to you (the Agent) to schedule the Frame Tour.

Step 5 - Buyer Updates

Tony Grantham (Schuber Mitchell) will send your buyer bi-weekly updates (includes pictures) when new phases of the build are complete. This keeps your buyer up-to-date with the build process.

At this point, you (the Agent) can look back at the Pre-Construction Slideshow Courtney sent you after the Construction Overview to stay up-to-date on the next steps.



Step 6 - New Home Orientation / Final Walkthrough

Within a week before closing, a Schuber Mitchell Employee will meet you and your buyer at the home for the New Home Orientation. (This step is similar to a final walkthrough.) Your buyer will receive information about the home, recommended maintenance and what to do if something goes wrong. The home comes with a 2-year builder's warranty and a 10-year structural warranty.

4-6 weeks before completion, Erin Ackerman (Schuber Mitchell) will reach out to you (the Agent) to set the New Home Orientation and Close date.

Step 7 - Closing

Closings are held at the Schuber Mitchell Model Home** at 1810 Fountain Road, Webb City

** Due to COVID-19, closing are being held at Great American Title 2401 E 32nd Street, Joplin
